The son of a former NFL quarterback was found dead on October 30th of this year. G.F. was eighteen years old and a quarterback of Thousand Oaks High School’s football team. Reports state that he was usingheroin at a friend’s house when he began foaming at the mouth. Instead of seeking medical attention, they dragged the unconscious boy to the house in hopes that he would sleep it off. When they checked on him the next morning, he was already dead. Since then, four have been arrested for involuntary manslaughter.
Involuntary manslaughter is defined as the unlawful killing of a human beingwithout malice aforethought. The individuals involved in this case did not intend for G.F. to die, but their actions led to his death.
