Last weekend, on May 20th, a man was beaten after he was involved in a minor fender bender in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium. Apparently, the victim was held down by three men while they repeatedly kicked and hit him in the face and head. Although his injuries were not fatal, he received medical attention as did a pregnant woman who was his passenger.
This is not the first time an incident involving assault has occurred at Dodger Stadium. Only last year, another victim suffered from damage after an attack at the same stadium. If they are convicted of assault with a deadly weapon, they could be facing heavy fines. According to the Penal Code Section 245, the guilty party could be fined up to $10,000 as well as put in jail for up to four years.
